Wildlife

Elk

Elk are large members of the deer family known for their impressive size, strong build, and majestic antlers. Found in forests, grasslands, and mountainous regions of North America and parts of Asia, elk are herbivores that feed on grasses, leaves, and bark.

Humming Bird

Humming birds are among the smallest and most fascinating birds in the world, known for their rapid wing movement that allows them to hover in place like insects. They are found mainly in the Americas and are famous for their bright, shimmering feathers that reflect light in different colors.

Coati

Coati are curious, agile mammals found in forests and tropical regions of the Americas. They belong to the raccoon family and are easily recognized by their long, flexible snouts and ringed tails. Coatis are highly social animals that often move in groups, especially females and young ones.

Bighorn Sheep

Bighorn Sheep are strong, sure-footed animals native to North America’s rocky mountains and steep cliffs. They are best known for their massive, curled horns, especially in males, which are used in dramatic head-butting battles to establish dominance.

Mountain Lion

Mountain Lions are powerful, solitary predators found across mountains, forests, and deserts of the Americas. They are skilled hunters with strong legs and excellent stealth, allowing them to ambush prey like deer. Despite their size and strength, they are quiet and elusive, rarely seen in the wild.
